Newlook Stain for Existing Concrete

Is a relatively new product that we really like. This is not a paint. It is an opaque stain that can be stacked and varigated with faux techniques. Unlike acid stains, these stains have a much larger color palatte and can also be custom color matched. It forms a tenacious bond with the concrete and after cure can even be power washed. .

Our Newlook stain applied on existing concrete patios, driveways, walkways will hide stains, discoloration, and generally give you a fresh look to your concrete. It is not a paint. This stain soaks deep into the pores of the concrete and whatever texture you have over your existing concrete will still be there. We have applied this product to blotchy, stained concrete, and completely covered the unsightly areas. We are able to faux, marbelize, and other techniqes with this product and we are still discovering new applications for it.

If you want a new look for your concrete surfaces without the cost of new concrete this may be the product for you. Take a look at the above slide show for a recent project that had blotchy discolored concrete. We applied a base color and faux techniques to achieve the new look and the clients are pleased.

All Newlook projects begin with thorough cleaning and surface preparation, removal of oils and grease, and depending on your concrete condition, a light grinding. Cracks or other flaws in concrete can be repaired but bear in mind that the stain will not hide any textures that the existing surface has and the repair will be visiable. Other options could be combined with our Newlook stains such as sawcutting a tile pattern, crack repair and overlay, or faux techniques.

The Newlook Color Chart for this product is quite large with custom colors available.
